DIM Divisor Applied: 5000
When a shipping mode is selected, the calculator automatically applies the standard DIM divisor used by couriers for that mode. You can manually override the divisor if your courier specifies a custom value.
2️⃣ Single Package Example (Domestic – Delhivery)
- Package Dimensions: 40 × 30 × 25 cm
- Actual Weight (per package): 5 kg
- Number of Packages: 1
- DIM Divisor: 5000
- Courier Rounding Rule: 0.5 kg
Volumetric Weight = (40 × 30 × 25) ÷ 5000 = 6.00 kg
Rounded Volumetric Weight (Delhivery) = 6.00 kg
Total Actual Weight = 5.00 kg
Chargeable Weight = 6.00 kg
3️⃣ International Air Shipment Example (Blue Dart / Similar)
- Package Dimensions: 50 × 40 × 35 cm

6️⃣ Manual DIM Divisor Override Example
If your courier provides a custom DIM divisor (for example, 4500), enter it in the DIM Divisor field. All volumetric calculations will instantly update using the new divisor, while courier rounding rules remain unchanged.
